Based on the VIDEOS from our week on RITUAL and SYMBOLISM, compare and contrast the purposes and ways in which different rituals are performed. Make sure to explain, in depth, the similarities/differences between these rituals and the traditions they are a part of (rather than just providing a summary of the video). Finally, make sure to capture the meanings and symbolism that accompany each ritual you analyze. 2) Do you believe that the Jain practice of Sallekhana is justified? Why or why not?
