It is a five (5) page, double spaced assignment (Times New Roman, 12 pt. font) that uses:
two thinkers/theoreticians putting their ideas in converstaion with one another and highlight the ways in which they complicate or compliment one another. This paper uses the religious methodology, poitlical theory, or frameworks that we’ve discussed so far in the course. This is not a comparative analysis or contrast paper. You must make an argument and have at minimum 5 quotes to substantiate your arguments. In addition to comprehensively summating the authors’ work, you must make a clear argument distinguished from the general argument the author is making (see writing samples). Your works cited page should be on page 6 and should be alphabatized (MLA format). Block quotes should be centered and aligned (4 lines or more) and do not use contractions in a formal, academic paper. Remember book titles are denoted with italics and book chapters are denoted with quotation marks.
Two theologians:
James Cone and Jordan Michael Crenshaw, both influential theologians who have explored the intersections of race, theology, and social justice. While they may not have specific “agreements” in the traditional sense, their work often intersects, especially within the realm of Black liberation theology and discussions on intersectionality. They both emphasize the importance of addressing systemic issues of oppression and inequality within theology and society.
