Guidelines:

Learners will compile a report which will provide evidence of learning in the following areas:

LO1 – Research the development of eBusiness practices to include emerging eBusiness technologies and applications
LO2 – Utilise a range of current eBusiness terms within the context of providing eBusiness solutions
LO3 – Appraise the main eBusiness strategies and technologies in current use to include business to consumer, business to business and business to government markets.

The candidate should:

  1. Indicate understanding of e-business and e-commerce systems
  2. Outline the development of the web [Web 1,2,3,4]
  3. Look at current developments and growth areas in the practice of eBusiness and their applications [minimum 3]
  4. Give an outline the main eBusiness strategies B2B, B2C, B2G in your own words
    a. To include:
    b. Clear definition of each
    c. Key characteristics of B2B and B2C strategies including different types.
    d. Give an example of a business using each strategy
  5. Give a summary of findings in a conclusion
  6. Cite and include a bibliography [Harvard style] and also include a methodology

  3. Utilise a range of current eBusiness terms within the context of providing eBusiness solutions – 3 Mark

Submission Details:

  • Evidence will consist of a word-processed Formal Report OR a Recorded Presentation
  • This report should be produced using the suggested layout indicated in this brief.
  • Finished document should be saved as a PDF with filename eBusiness development and strategies and submitted to Moodle on or before the submission date indicated above.
