Please make a NEW RESUME or update your current resume using the criteria below in the rubric. The resume needs to be in a word doc, NOT PDF or JPEG. The following are resources that can help when making your resume. All volunteer work, donations, charitable work should be included in a separate section with an appropriate title. Checklist for Success – Resume and References Are all proper nouns and the first word of each statement capitalized? Did you double check for correct spelling and grammar? Does each detail or bullet start with an Action word, instead of a full sentence? Did you include 4-5 employability skills in Profile section, either in bullet format or as a sentence fragment? Do you know how to do all of the career area skills you listed under Education? Did you fill out all sections that apply to you, including work experience, certifications, awards, volunteer work, and activities with dates and details? Did you delete sections that do not apply to you? Did you start with your most recent information in each section and work backwards so the oldest is listed last? Did you list 2-3 professional references, including how you know them and their contact information?
