Assignment – Project 2025
One of the most controversial topics of discussion in the 2024 Presidential is Project 25. It would change how the American government has worked for the past 248 years.
Instructions: Submit assignments in 12-point WORD.dox only. Other formats will not be graded.
Use one conservative, one liberal and two non-partisan, nonprofit fact-checking sources. If you cannot find nonprofit, nonpartisan sources then you may submit two conservative sources and two liberal sources instead. These four sources are required for EVERY topic/question.
You may use the same sources for the entire assignment or different sources for different topics. You must provide both in-text citations for each topic, anytime you reference a source, plus a Works Cited page, using MLA format.
You need to be as detailed as possible in your answers; provide examples and/or historical references, if relevant. This is not an assignment where offering merely generalities will suffice.
First:
1) Research and explain Project 25, including The Four Pillars.
2) Who are its authors? What is the project’s source of funding?
3) What is the ideology of the project?
Next, for each of the following topics:
A) Explain how our current government would change.
B) Describe the pro and con arguments for those changes.
- Explain how such changes would impact how the federal government would work overall and, especially the executive branch.
- Explain the possible affect on our republican (representative form of government, not party) form of democracy.
