Formative tasks
You will be required to complete two formative tasks which both relate to the summative assignment. Submission dates can be found on the TLP. Your
tutor will provide more details of precise task requirements and organise feedback in class and tutorial times. The two formative tasks are:
1 Write an essay plan for your summative assignment.
2 Submit a sample section of your summative assignment draft (up to 500 words).The written assessment is in the form of an essay and requires you to write an answer to one of two questions. Your response will involve finding and using
secondary sources and addressing the question. The word count is 1000 words. You must choose one of the following titles:
1. Evaluate the prospects for technology in higher education.
2. Discuss some of the current challenges faced by companies involved in international business.Your essay should be submitted on a MS Word document to the Turn It In link provided in your Blackboard site. Your tutor will provide instructions on
how to do this.
The essay should conform to the following specification:
Word-processed in Arial or Calibri 11pt, 1.5 spacing
You must include your student name, student ID number, module code and class tutor name at the top of your document
Please add the essay title at the top of the page
Please label your MS Word document as follows: ‘FAMILY NAME, first name, student ID
