 Line spacing should be single spacing. For example this short paragraph which is longer than
it has to be, but necessary in this case, is single spacing.
 Paragraphs should have a minimum of 6 point (or maximum of 1 line spacing). For example,
these short bullet point above have 6 point spacing, whilst below they have one whole line
spacing (of 12 point font).
 Margins must be 1 inch top, bottom and sides.
 Check your subscripts/superscripts. It should be H2O , not H2O, h2o, or any other combination
you can think of.
 References should match ACS style requirements1

Section Headings should be Size 14 font, bold, underlined
