Purpose

 Explore the evolution of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) into the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Correlate between the Millennium Development goals and Communicable diseases.

 Course Outcomes

 This assignment documents students’ ability to meet the following course outcomes.

     Analyze global health disparities and the local, national, and international responses to disparities in the global health context

     Recognize prevalent cross-cultural and underserved issues in primary care, and gain an      understanding of how this knowledge can be applied to practice in the participant’s home country

     Develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to effectively work with communities to identify and appropriately access community-based resources.

     Analyze world health indicators and multidimensional forces that influence health care.

     Investigate how health care delivery has changed globally and how these changes are connected to nursing practice.

·       This assignment is worth 100 points and will be graded on the required components as summarized in the directions and grading criteria/rubric. This assignment will be graded on the quality of information, use of citations, use of Standard English grammar, sentence structure, and overall organization based on the required components as summarized in the directions and grading criteria and rubric.

·       APA format and effective writing are required for the paper. Use your APA manual or Purdue Owl to check and correct your formatting. Use Grammarly, Tutor.com, and the grammar and spelling check on your Word Processor and criteria for effective writing to assure that your paper is well written. APA format is required, with both a title page and reference page.

·       Create your manuscript using the version of Microsoft Word. You can tell that the document is saved as an MS Word document because it will end in “.docx”.

·       The length of the project report is to be five pages, excluding the title page and reference pages.
