With the help of the same administrator or mentor teacher, plan and prepare a Professional Development Proposal based on the survey data and results from Clinical Field Experience A. Continue analyzing the survey data and collaborate with your mentor to create a proposal that addresses the topics identified from the survey data. The session should be designed as a structured professional development opportunity that results in changes in teacher best practices and student learning outcomes related to ethical and safe digital tools.

Use any remaining time to observe and/or assist your mentor or another teacher and work with an individual or small group of students on instruction in the classroom.

Note – You will be delivering this professional development in Topic 5, Clinical Field Experience C.

In preparation for your professional development session in Topic 5, create a proposal for the PD session in the form of a digital flyer, webpage, video, or another digital tool with the help of the discussion you had with your mentor. The Professional Development Proposal should include information for a wide range of grade levels and include each of the following:

Call to Attend (Two sentence “hook” that tells teachers what to expect and piques their interest in this professional development offering.)
Overview (1-2 paragraph summary of content and how this addresses the needs identified from the survey.)
Learning Objectives
Main Session (Create an agenda that describes the flow of the presentation and activities. Include methods for providing teachers meaningful feedback and addressing their cultural, social-emotional, and learning needs.)
Grade Level Breakout Activity to complete within the main session (You are required to integrate technology with the teacher participants.)
Create a digital evaluation survey to provide your participants at the conclusion of your professional development session in Topic 5, Clinical Field Experience C. Your digital evaluation survey should include questions that focus on the overall effectiveness of the professional development session. Questions should be centered on the strengths and areas of improvement of the professional development session.
Begin to gather the materials and resources needed for your presentation and activities. Seek your mentor’s guidance and feedback when creating materials and choosing resources. You will be required to submit these in Topic 5, Clinical Field Experience C.

Support your Professional Development Proposal with a minimum of three scholarly resources.
