Accompanied by his father, Christopher’s behavior has deteriorated over the past 8 months. At home, he demonstrates disorganization, forgetting to engage in basic self-care like bathing and grooming. His ability to maintain coherent thoughts is compromised, often veering into unrelated topics, or abruptly stopping mid-sentence. He engages in self-talk before bedtime and displays minimal emotional expression throughout most of the day. Christopher’s fear of arrest due to possessing classified world-ending information hinders his ability to leave the house. Notably, he has no history of autism and denies mood fluctuations.
