Create a literature review using the 5 peer-reviewed, scholarly resources you identified for your
assignment due in Week 2 and any additional resources you have found related to your topic and
population that provide additional insight.
In your literature review:
1. Describe the topic and population you are exploring.
2. Synthesize what the literature has to say about the nature of the challenge and its causes.
3. Synthesize what the literature has to say about how culture, community, families, and society
affect children and/or adolescents.
4. Synthesize what the literature has to say about issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion related
to the development of children and/or adolescents.
5. Based on the literature, describe the implications for future research, policy, and practice.
