Develop an original 45-minute classroom academic language vocabulary lesson plan (maximum 325 words) for a specific secondary grade level and content area.
Note: Select 1 of these required major subject areas: mathematics, science, social studies, the arts (visual or performing), physical education, or health education, and select a specific grade level focus 6–12.

Your academic language vocabulary lesson should integrate both reading and writing into the content area of vocabulary instruction. Do not use a lesson plan from an already published source. You may use this lesson plan as 1 of the 4 required lesson plans for your Week 6 Summative Assessment: Teaching Strategies Content Area Literacy Unit assessment*.
