Dr. Dre also known as André Romelle Young has been a huge impact on the rap and hip hop industry. I’ve been listening to Dre since I was little in elementary school walking around with my Sony disc man. I want to known what upbringing that influenced his desire for hip hop and gave him his name Dr. Dre. Also what shaped him to be who he is today. Since then he has influenced and help out so many artists such as his former group NWA, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Eminem and so many more. His talents in the industry helped him become one of the highest paying producers out there. On top of all his success as a artist and producer he became the creator/businessman for Beats Electronics which sells headphones, ear pods and speakers including a music streaming service. All of the above information is just a small glimpse into his influence and because of that I would love to write about him and learn more on his endeavors.
I uploaded a research proposal paper and work cited. Those references can be used again since they have been approved.
The paper is at least 5 pages long with an additional Works Cited page (in other words, the Works Cited page does not count towards the 5 page minimum).
On an additional page, create a Works Cited page with the information for three sources you have found on the topic (two must be from EBSCO Discovery Service and all must be at least three pages in length). I have refereneceson the research proposal that was approved
Each source on the Works Cited page is cited at least once somewhere in the work with the author’s last name and page number at the end of a sentence using information from that source in this format (ExampleName #).
The paper stays on topic.
Paper Guidelines:
All written assignments should be typed in MLA format using Times New Roman 12pt font.
Do not include cover sheets.
Proper grammar/spelling .
Write to the very bottom of the last assigned page.
You can quote material in your paper, but too much quoted material (more than ½ page total) will not count towards your paper length.
You must have at least three sources of information; two sources found through EDS,
The two minimum EDS sources must be three pages or longer in length. This is an easy requirement to meet if it is a book, but other sources like magazine and journal articles, you will need to check the page length.
Make certain to list the full page range of any periodicals, as per MLA format guidelines.
Albums and lyrics do not count as source material toward the three minimum sources, though you can use them as additional sources.
All material from the same publisher or author will be considered from the same source (to avoid bias) – so for example, three articles from Rolling Stone magazine are all from the same publisher or author and only count as one toward your three source minimum.
You can quote material in your paper, but too much quoted material (more than ½ page total) will not count towards your paper length.
Missing publication information (like the year of publications, or the author’s name) is not allowed for your three minimum sources (no “n.p.”s or “n.d.”s etc.). If you have additional sources and can’t find all the information, that is okay. For your three minimum sources, they must have all the information requested for a proper MLA listing.
You must cite each reference material at least once in your paper (so a minimum of three in-text citations are required). Anything on your Works Cited page should be cited at least once somewhere in your paper.
Papers will be scanned by Turnitin for plagiarism, so please, if you use information from somewhere, make sure to properly cite it and put as much of your work in your own words as possible. Do not copy and paste from source material unless you are intentionally quoting something/someone.
NO PLAGARISM PLEASE!
