Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools are becoming increasingly popular in higher education. Many students use AI tools to brainstorm ideas, outline essays, revise their writing, or generate sample questions for exams. These technologies can support learning, but they have also raised serious concerns about plagiarism, academic integrity, and the future of student learning.
Faculty members, administrators, and students have expressed a wide range of opinions. Opponents of AI argue that AI should be strictly limited or even banned because the technology enables students to generate essays without doing the intellectual rigor and process themselves. Proponents of AI tools argue that AI is the next step in educational technology and should be incorporated responsibly into learning.
Because this issue affects the entire academic community, students are invited to submit written statements explaining how AI should be used ethically in academic settings.

2. Discuss concerns related to plagiarism, academic honesty, and misuse of AI. (You will need to cite a source or two here).
3. Present your position on how AI should be used ethically in academic work.
4. Provide specific examples of responsible AI use by students.
