Fix the Research Proposal Manyscript based off the feedback my teacher gave me.
It would be useful to have a “Current Study” section that outlines each of your hypotheses. Each hypothesis should be specifically and explicitly identified. Then, it would be easier for me to provide feedback or an assessment of your statistical analyses. Right now, it is difficult to provide such feedback without having each of your hypotheses specifically identified. Think of using sentences like “I expect X will be greater than Y in the experimental group (Hypothesis 1). I hypothesize that the relationship between aerobic capacity and muscular strength will be positive (Hypothesis 2).”
It would also be useful to explicitly identify and name and/or describe each measurement tool/instrument/survey/questionnaire/device, etc. (i.e., all measures). In your procedures, it would be useful to explicitly specify how many times each measure will be administered. This will help both of us and any other reader understand and give advice on the statistical approach. Remember, methods follow the research question and hypothesis, and statistical analysis follows the method. Many times, people have a separate paragraph within their methods (after the participants subsection) to discuss measurement. This is helpful.
In this measurement and evaluation class, these concepts will be emphasized.
Additionally, please make sure to address all of your APA formatting. Double check your in-text/parenthetical citations, as well as your reference list.
Right now, you seem to have almost separate methods sections for each hypothesis, or at least you have separate statistical analyses. You only need one – you just need to be specific about which hypothesis each statistical analysis tests.
Overall, I think the purpose and methods of your study can and should be simplified. Instead of having 3-4 aims, you might consider 1-2. A more straightforward paper would allow me (and others) to provide more straightforward feedback.
