For this assignment, you will introduce your proposed research project and create an interview
schedule/guide for it.
Instructions
To introduce your research project, state the qualitative approach you are using and provide an
updated rendition of your guiding research question(s) and research purposes).
Then, keeping your approach, research question(s) and purposes) in mind, provide the following
information:
1. The type of interviews you are likely to engage in (structured, semistructured, focus, etc.).
2. The proposed number of interviews.
3. Your interview questions in the order you foresee using them. For each question, using the
names of questions discussed in Chapter 7 of your Qualitative Research Methods: Evidence,
Crafting Analysis, Communicating Impact textbook, identify the specific type of question it is and
your goal for asking it (aim for a mix of question types, and see Tips and Tools 7.2 in the
textbook for examples). Include at least 6 peer-reviewed references to briefly ground your
research questions in the literature.
4. Looping back to your guiding research questions), ensure that the interview questions
appropriately connect to your study’s overall focus and goals. Make adaptations as necessary
and then explain how the interview questions connect to the study’s focus, goals, and research
questions.

• Written communications: Provide a well-written guide/schedule with correct use of spelling,
