For this final assignment, produce a checklist to assist product managers in making ethical decisions. Please use more as needed based upon readings, your personal research, and recommendations. Using your thinking harder mindset and considering a global and diverse perspective will help you deliver a 10-point ethics checklist.
Consider a product you would like to develop for personal use as the basis to develop your checklist. What follows are a few suggestions to get your mind into the ethics mindset, but you must create your own and in unison with your product idea:
• Identify an ethical issue that may manifest from your new product idea.
• Identify if a race, color, or creed that could be impacted by the product.
• Identify the impact of your product in other countries.
• Identify what each party would expect you do to do about any ethical issues that may arise.
• Identify reasonable options that might satisfy the user and the company.
• Identify potential consequences of your actions.
• Determine a recommended action plan.
Length: A 10-point ethical checklist
References: Include a minimum of 2 scholarly resources.
The completed assignment should include a description of your product and 10 point ethics checklist, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the content presented in the course. The writing must use headers, use complete sentences, should integrate scholarly resources, reflect academic expectations and current APA standards, and adhere to National University’s Academic Integrity Policy.
