For this written assignment, you should choose a
psychological assessment (intellectual, emotional,
behavioral, and personality assessments for children
and/or adults) measure commonly used individually or
in group settings which is not being studied in our
course. Do NOT select the MMPI-2, MMPI-2-RF, and
MCMI-III, TAT, NEO tests, 16 PF, BDI, BAI, SCL-90-R,
WAIS-IV, WISC-IV, WPPSI, Stanford Binet,
KBIT, Conners, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Child
Behavior Checklist, and House-Tree-Person.
You should explain in detail aspects of:
• The construction of the test (how the test
was developed, created, and decided upon.)
• How it is administered (how the test is “given” to
a client)
• How it is scored (how the test is scored once
given to a client to determine the results)
• How you interpret the test (How you determine
the results of the test (e.g. validity, elevated
scores and what they mean, etc. AND how you
explain the results of the test once scored to a
client).
• You also have to explain how it is a fit for the
field of human services that you work with/will
work with.
