Instructions For your assignment, imagine that you have been hired by a group of parents to prepare a presentation to educate elementary aged children about vaping. Complete the assignment by following the directions given below.

Step 1: Conduct Research

The content of your presentation must include research on the following topics:

• What vaping is and how it works

• How advertisers target teens and children

• Why it is unhealthy and what are some common risks/consequences

• Advice on how to deal with peer pressure to try vaping

Step 2: List Your Sources

Your fnal product will include a list of the sources you used. For each source, indicate the following:

• The name of the book, article, or website (include the URL if it is a website) • The author, if given

• The date the book or article was written, or the approximate date the website was built (year only is fne)

Step 3: Create Your Presentation

1. Select a format for your digital presentation to teach elementary aged children about the dangers of vaping.

• Slide show (Google slides, PowerPoint, Canva, etc.)

• Brochure

• Digital Poster

2. Include the required topics (from step 1):

Example of what to include on Slide 1–4

• What vaping is and how it works

• How advertisers target teens and children

• Why it is unhealthy and what are some common risks/consequences

• Advice on how to deal with peer pressure to try vaping

3. Design the presentation for your target audience.
