Genetics Case Study
Students are also required to undertake a research project related to genetic disorders.
The purpose
of the project is to practice writing a genetics report and educating classmates on evidence-based
research related to genetic disorders.
The genetic report must include the following sections:
• Abstract
• Introduction
• Results
• Case Studies
• Discussion
• References

The report must be typed with 1” margins,
double spacing, and a 12-point Times New Roman font.
The paper should also include a reference
list.
A minimum of five references must be utilized and no reference should be older than five
years.
The American Psychological Association format must also be utilized for the paper.
The
paper should be between ten and fifteen pages in length (not including the cover page, abstract,
references, exhibits, etc.).
The genetic report represents 15% of a student’s overall course grade.
The genetic report must be submitted through Canvas in order for the report to be uploaded This syllabus is intended as a guide
