For this Discussion Board we will explore ways to apply what we have learned about Social Cognition Concepts to address bullying – a topic that has been around for ages and something that most of us have experienced on one side or another.

The Assignment:
For this Discussion Board, complete the following steps:
In your own words, briefly define Cognitive Dissonance, Attitudes, and Persuasion.
Answer the question about bullying (“Is bullying preventable?”).
Use these terms and any others to explain the behavior, and if it can be addressed, or not.
Give an example of how it can be addressed or why not according to a social psychologists (i.e. Asch, Milgram, Bandura, Zimbardo, etc).
Review the submissions of at least 3 peers. How does your answer compare? Be sure to leave a question and insight for each peer whose work you choose to review.
