Please develop an argument for OR against abolishing the juvenile justice system. What is the major benefit(s) of maintaining a bifurcated justice system (i.e., separate juvenile and adult systems)? What is the major drawback(s) of a bifurcated justice system?  Your argument must be based on theory and empirical evidence presented throughout the course and should integrate the readings for this week's module.

In developing your response, consider these three questions: Does the JJS operate differently than the adult system? Would youth be negatively or positively impacted by abolishment of the JJS? Would abolishing the JJS save money?

Please make sure to upload a 3–5-page Word document with your answer. Assignments will be put through turnitin.com.
