In your capstone class (your last class), it is an expectation that you have a created a consent and debriefing form for your research proposal. It could be beneficial if you create this assignment around the topic you would like to research. Before you begin the assignment, view the APA website and read the ethics listings. Complete an informed consent form using one of the provided informed consent form templates, located in Topic 3 resources. The completed assignment should be written in a clear and concise manner at the appropriate reading level for the participants and include: a debriefing from that explains the nature and true purpose of the study. an explanation of the potential risks and benefits of the experiment and they are clearly outlined for the participant. a list of the procedures to be followed and they are fully explained with an opportunity for participants to ask any questions. a statement of assurance that all data will remain private and confidential. Using the GCU Library, research, locate, and select two to four scholarly resources to support your form. Be sure to cite your sources at the conclusion of the document. Consent form is written in a clear and concise manner in understandable language at the appropriate reading level for the participants. While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
