PURPOSE: The purpose for this study is to give perspective on mental health contributing to the rate of school shootings.
CONTRIBUTIONS: The contributions of this study are:
·      The research will give people insight into the mental health fix instead of gun control.
·      Could give insight into why school shooters do what they do.
RESEARCH QUESTIONS: This study seeks to investigate the following research questions:
1.    How much does mental health contribute to the cause of school shootings?
METHODOLOGICAL APPROACH: I will be using quantitative data for this research project. I feel like the only way to connect mental health with school shooting is to examine the data and see if school shooters do have a mental problem and if so what percentage of them do. I will be searching for any data on the after math of school shootings and the background of the person who did it.
