To evaluate the student’s ability to understand a real-world scenario, conceptualize the required data structure, and visually represent this structure through an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). Instructions:

  1. Read the below Video Case Study Carefully. Understand the business or scenario described, focusing on the data requirements and relationships between different
  2. Identify Key Entities: From the case study, identify the main entities that should be included in the database. Entities represent objects or concepts that hold data.
  3. Determine Relationships: Determine how these entities interact with each Understand the type of relationship (one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-many) and what they represent in the context of the case study.
  4. Identify Attributes: For each entity, identify the attributes or properties that should be stored. Consider the key attribute(s) that uniquely identify each entity instance. If all attributes of an Entity are not explicitly mentioned in the video, include commonly used attributes based on you own research.
  5. Create the ERD using io: Using the information you’ve gathered, create an Entity Relationship Diagram. Your ERD should clearly represent entities, their attributes, and the relationships between entities. Use Crows Foot notation to illustrate the relationship cardinality and participation. The tables must be in 3NF and many-to-many relationships must be resolved by adding composite entities.
  6. Add your full name, student ID and Campus on the diagram page in a textbox.
  7. Save the ERD in draw.io file format (.drawio) and submit it via the Assessment Task 2 Submission
