In terms of the topic, the main issue would be that this is a very ambitious project, and the topic is too broad. You really need to narrow it down to a manageable scale for your final paper. The focus is super vague right now, and you need to choose one specific period and maybe do a case study of one kind of the portable camera. 2. In terms of the historical questions, I don’t really see explicit historical questions in your paper. The paper feels more like a summary of the camera development instead of an archive-based research. You need to narrow down your topics and find your historical questions first. 3. In terms of the sources, this is the biggest issue in your proposal. I didn’t see any primary sources you’ve found. Without the archive in hand, it’s very hard for you to narrow down your topic. 4. In terms of the analysis, since you don’t really have the sources in your paper, there’s not much analysis of the sources. 5. You also need to input proper citations with the correct format. You don’t have to revise your proposal, but please do show significant changes and advancements in your final paper.
