The Caldecott Medal has been awarded annually since 1938 by the American Library Association to the most distinguished picture book published in America. Runners-up are given Honor Awards. The Caldecott Award is given to the ILLUSTRATOR and honors the pictorial ART rather than the TEXT.
Write an analysis of the Caldecott book you chose. First, your paper should list the title, author and illustrator (this may be the same person) , year published, and year awarded Caldecott Medal or Honor. It should be at least 3 pages in length, and in essay format addressing the criteria listed below. If you have any questions about this assignment, please email me WELL before the due date.
