In this report, you are required to research and critically discuss contemporary issues in the global environment, with a specific focus on resource allocation, economic growth and sustainability.
You are required to select a multinational organisation of your choice and critically evaluate how these issues impact its performance and strategy, with an emphasis on current challenges and policies. Additionally, you will analyse the ethical challenges involved in implementing policies aimed at sustainable development.
Your report should include theoretical Frameworks, case studies and practical examples.
Provide a clear and logical analytical report following the guidelines below:
- Provide an overview of the contemporary issues in the global environment, emphasising Resource Allocation, Economic Growth, And Sustainability.
- Select a multinational organisation of your choice and provide a rationale for your selection. (Example Businesses: Apple, Unilever, Nestlé, Toyota, Tesla, Shell, Coca-Cola etc.)
- Consider the comparison of market-based and non-market-based approaches to resource allocation. Evaluate using theoretical frameworks the role of government policies, international trade, and globalisation in shaping resource allocation strategies for the chosen organisation.
- Provide an overview of measures of economic growth (GDP and non-GDP indicators) and sustainable development within the context of chosen organisation. Evaluate how this impacts the organisation’s global business.
- Analyse the role ethics and governance play in achieving resource management, economic development, and environmental sustainability.
