As a PMHNP student in 2nd clinical rotation:

Description of Assignment- Student self-evaluation/reflection of their experiences during this clinical course (clinical and simulation experiences) and the identification and analyzation of self-care strategy.

Students must self-evaluate/reflect at the end of each clinical course by answering the statements/questions below on their clinical experiences, resilience, and self-care. This reflection assignment is evaluated based on the completion of each section, as well as grammar/spelling/punctuation. Students may include the prompts in their assignment to guide them. See the grading rubric for full grading details and minimum word count requirements.

1. Identify at least 3 well-described examples of what went well and that you felt good about during your clinical experiences while completing this course. Also, include how your identified self-care strategy played a role with these examples and added to your resilience and well-being during your clinical experience.

2. Identify at least 3 well-described examples of what did not go well and that you did not feel good about during your clinical experiences while completing this course (MH752). Also, include how utilizing your self-care strategy helped you with resilience and well-being with these examples.

3. What new learning outcomes came about because of both the good and not so good experiences? What new skill or competency level was developed?

4. Thinking back on the term, reflecting on your actions or decisions, what would you change or do differently?

5. Describe and evaluate at least one intervention that you suggested or initiated during a client encounter.

6. Describe an example of a social determinant of health that you encountered during this clinical course with a patient or with the community. What was done to address this determinant of health or what could be done to help alleviate this social determinant of health. Identity evidence on your social determinant of health examples and the found effects. Include what the evidence recommends for reducing or alleviating these effects.

7. Identify at least one SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-Specific Goal for the next clinical course to promote your clinical competency. What resources will you use to assist you in meeting this goal?

**You must include references from resources that can be identified by your RCF and are current (within 5 years) related to evidence for the social determinant of health that you identified in the examples above.
