You will create your own hypothesis statement (null and alternative) about the house prices in the zip code you have chosen. Then you will do research to find the median house price and the actual house prices of 30 houses in that zip code. You will run your test and then make a conclusion regarding whether house prices have changed, gotten higher or gone lower.
Use any zip code you like. Do some research about a new neighborhood, your neighborhood or even another state.
Potential Pitfalls
Be sure your hypothesis statement and the type of test you use match. Remember what it means to be left-tailed, right-tailed or two tailed.
Not including all of the required elements. Be sure to read through the file carefully and include all of the pieces in your final presentation.
Make sure you have the Data Analysis Tool installed in your excel. Everyone has excel from the school, so make sure you know how to access it. You should have used it in project 1 as well.
