The Hugelius 2021 reference is very out of date regarding covid and there’s no need to include it.
Must mention regulation 9a and the DOH as these are both very current, April 2024
Regulation 9A: Visiting and accompanying in care homes, hospitals and hospices – Care Quality Commission (cqc.org.uk)
Supporting safer visiting in care homes during infectious illness outbreaks – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
No need to talk about lateral flow as these are out of date. Covid is referred to as a respiratory disease.  If we have an outbreak of suspected covid, we seek advice from the HPT who may suggest performing PCRs but we don’t need to say this, just make a reference to measures if we have an outbreak of an infectious disease.
No need to reference a paper talking about Data Protection Act and Human and equality rights, just reference the acts themselves.
Can you also put in about hours of visiting.
we also need to include something about eating.  They can eat with their family in the Green room or the dining room.
