• The Privacy Dilemma: You discover that your friend is hiding important information from their partner.
• The War Dilemma: You are a soldier in the midst of an armed conflict and are ordered to shoot an enemy. Should you follow orders and take a life, or should you refuse to do so for moral considerations?
• The Abortion Dilemma: Faced with an unwanted pregnancy, you must decide whether to terminate the pregnancy or carry it to term. Should you have the right to choose what you do with your own body?
• The Deception in a Relationship Dilemma: You discover that your partner has been unfaithful, but they are not aware that you know. Should you confront your partner and reveal what you know, or should you keep it a secret to avoid harming the relationship?
• The Anonymity Dilemma: You witness an act of discrimination or harassment at your workplace, but if you confront the situation directly, you could face retaliation or even lose your job.
• The Trolley Dilemma: Imagine you see an uncontrollable trolley about to run over five people. You have the option to switch the trolley to another track where only one person is present. Should you intervene and sacrifice one person to save five? (I am including the Trolly Problem, but I prefer if you do not use this dilemma).
• You are more than welcome to search for other ethical dilemmas. You must use a minimum of three ethical dilemmas. Do not use any ethical dilemmas that we have discussed in class. Your instructor wants dilemmas already discussed will result in heavy penalties.
