THEATER COMPANY ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
For this paper, you are presenting a proposal for your brand-new fantasy Theatre Company! Your paper needs to present all of the following information:
The name of your Theatre Company (and why you chose that name)
The mission/focus of your Theatre Company (and why you think it’s important)
The theme of your inaugural Season (and why you think it’s an inspiring theme)
The three shows (can be plays or musicals) that will make up your Season
For each show describe the followingâ€¦
Which company holds the rights/licenses for that show AND the link to the company’s page for the show (either go to the company’s page and browse their shows, or google a specific show you want to do and see which company holds the rights/license for it). Make sure the link you provide is the link to the actual specific licensing homepage for the show, not just the general homepage for the company. If a show is a royalty free show, then state that. The big major theatre companies that hold rights/licenses for most plays/musicals areâ€¦

How the show is related to both your Company’s overall mission/focus and the specific Season theme
Description of your poster advertisement for the show (how the advertisement is both inspired by elements of the show and highlighting the Season’s theme without using copyrighted images)
***IMPORTANT: All three shows must be real existing theatre shows that are licensable (meaning you can’t make up a show or pretend to turn a movie/book/tv show into a theatre production if it hasn’t already been turned into a licensable theatre production)
