The Critique
You will be expected to identify strengths and limitations of the
assessment, ideally showing an awareness of what the assessment was trying to
achieve as well as what it might have the potential to achieve if improved.
You may wish to adopt one of the theories of assessment studied on the
module as a lens through which to evaluate the assessment.
The Recommendations
Depending on the outcome of your critique, recommendations could include
building on strengths you have identified and/ or remedying limitations you
have identified in line with any theoretical stance you have adopted.
You may wish to make the
changes to the assessment and attach as an appendix, but you can just as
successfully explain how improvements could be made.
