• Analyse current and emergent technological provision and innovation in meeting
the care, empowerment and support needs of the older person.The poster presentation should include the following:
• An introduction
• A critical evaluation of the care, empowerment and support needs of older people. For example,
maintaining functional ability, independence, freedom and choice.
• A critical evaluation of the effectiveness and benefit of approaches and interventions, including
current provisions in the UK. Explore theory and policy in this area.
• An explanation of the challenges encountered by older people in maintaining their independence
and functional ability.
• Recommendations for improvement for services to empower older people.
• A conclusion.
• A references list.General Submission Guidance:
