These challenges continue to influence how our institutions respond in a rapidly
changing and uncertain global environment. One area of study focuses on trauma and
terrorism. The fears and disruption, as well as other factors create psychological,
physiological, and societal duress. There is also the risk of passing the trauma to the
next generation.
