Web developers create and maintain websites.  The web sites can be enormous, such as Amazon or Wal-Mart, or they can be as small as a personal home page. They are also responsible for the site’s technical aspects.  Some of these aspects are updating the website using a variety of languages (such as PHP, HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript and more), creating and editing databases and system information measuring its performance and capacity, which are measures of a website’s speed and how much traffic the site can handle. In addition, web developers may create content for the site.  A web developers job duties are varied and exciting.
