A SWOT analysis is often applied to business or organizations to help them assess the health of their infrastructure and how they align against their competition. It can also be applied to an individual to assess their current situation (Teoli et al., 2023). When you clearly identify your internal weaknesses and external threats to success, you can address them.
You will perform self-introspection and create an Individual SWOT AnalysisDownload Individual SWOT Analysis related to your NCLEX preparation. Consider the following topics. Reflect on each item, then categorize it by adding the them to the SWOT template. You do not need to use complete sentences within the template; bullet-point lists are acceptable.
No two SWOT Analyses will be the same. Items to be added are:
3 or 4 nursing concepts that are strengths 3 or 4 nursing concepts that are weaknesses Test-taking skills NGN items Performance on application-based case studies Past HESI scores Knowledge of underlying disease pathophysiology Time management skills Study skills Family and friend support Self-care Motivation and determination for success Work/life/school balance After you have created your SWOT Analysis, reflect on the final results. Record your answers to these questions on the same Word doc as your SWOT Analysis. Use complete sentences, but be clear and concise in your answers. Your submission should be 1-2 pages in length.
