Option 1: See case study provided.

You are a newly appointed Safety, Health and Wellbeing manager at the company described in the case study. The company has recently undertaken a health, wellbeing, and engagement survey of their workers. The findings of the survey were presented to the Board of Directors (see report and presentation provided within the case study) who are not happy with the results.

The Board of Directors has asked you to improve the results.

Using the information in the report and presentation provided, and worker engagement theories, develop an evidence-based approach which the Board of Directors can take to improve worker engagement within the organisation.

Option 2: Own organisation or one you are familiar with.

Identify a potential health, wellbeing, or engagement issue within an organisation you work for or with which you are familiar.

Using relevant information collected from within the organisation, and worker engagement theories, develop an evidence-based approach which the Board of Directors can take to improve the identified issue within the organisation.

Please note: The assessment is now a 2000-word written report.

You need to develop an evidence-based action plan of the specific activities you advise the organisation to take. These activities should be of short, medium, and long-term (6, 12, 24 months) duration. You should use the attached layout to present your report.

Marking Criteria:

· Introduction (5%)

· Ability to apply engagement theory in practice (25%)

· Ability to communicate a plan of action effectively at a high level, organizationally (25%)

· Ability to develop an argument that includes SMART objectives and evaluation points (30%)

· Conclusion (5%)

· Appropriate structure, grammar and referencing of sources in Harvard referencing style. (10%)
