– You can choose a building, the grounds, or a set of buildings (such as residence halls). Your plan should earn at least 30 points from 2 or more categories (SS, WE, EA, IEQ, MR).

-You will make a Power Point presentation or a website showcasing your ideas.

-The project requires that you consider several categories, and try to incorporate aspects of those for ‘points.’ I have reduced the number of points required from 45 to 30, and reduced the categories from 3 to 2. This means you are going to integrate enough ideas from at least 2 different areas into your project to earn 30 points.

Your project should have at least 4 parts:

-A description of the background situation. Describe the existing conditions of your location and why they need to be improved. You’re encouraged to use other similar locations for comparison.

-A description of how your project will earn points from each of the categories you select. Your project should include aspects from at least 2 categories.

-A summary of the total plan integrated together. The summary should show the points earned for each of the plan components.

-A graphic demonstrating each part of the plan on it, such as a drawing of the building with labels of where you plan to integrate your ideas. Your graphic should include enough of the surrounding area to demonstrate how your plan will integrate with the site. You should include other graphics to support your ideas as well.
