You can choose any part of our three-pronged criminal justice systems (corrections, police, and courts) for this assignment. You can choose any topic as long as the topic correlates to any of the mentioned systems. For example, corrections (overcrowding issues in the correction system, presenting hypothetical policies in mitigating this issue), police (update on a murder case or chief of police statement on police brutality and their take on this issue), and court system (sentencing, etc.).
Task
In this assignment, you will plan and write a hypothetical 60-second PSA, related to your chosen topic, as if it were to be presented to news media. While preparing the PSA, consider the reading from the textbook, particularly the five steps of the communication process and the nine barriers to communication, as well as the attached document.
