The Pythagorean Theorem can be used in so many different ways. You can use it for architecture, navigation, and surveying. The most common out of the three is architecture! We can use Pythagorean Theorem with architecture to figure out how we need to build a certain part of a building or part. Sciencing gave a great example of a slanted roof, we can use Pythagorean Theorem to find the diagonal part with the knowledge of knowing the other two pieces. You can also try to make sure the buildings are perfectly aligned with one another by using this formula! By making sure the foundation is right and aligned to each corner of the walls, they can figure out they made each building in the perfect place.
