Your final placement report should be 1800-2000 words in total, including in-text referencing, and written in critically reflective style.
For each of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Practice Standard 2023, identify what has been transformative in your developing practice framework since your mid-placement review and presentation. You are expected to use a specific placement experience (approximately 200 words per Standard) when writing the report, and not use the same examples from your mid-placement review.
You are required to use critical reflections from supervision, your learning plan and relevant literature to support this critically reflective exercise. It is COMPULSORY to use in text referencing, which can include relevant academic literature from units of study and readings undertaken on placement, the AASW Practice Standards (2023) and AASW Code of Ethics (2020), relevant social policies and theories used on placement, knowledge drawn on from placement including grey literature, legislation and research. You are also expected to have a reference list. If you do not use appropriate in-text referencing, you will be asked to rewrite the Final Placement Report.
