Effective Communication

In current society, where everything is getting digitalized, taking everything online has become a major part and parcel of our lives, especially at work. From attendance, communication, accounts, and much more different software. Almost close to nonexistent are there any companies who still do everything manually.

A large number of companies nowadays mostly consist of SMEs. However, in most SME’s there is always a lack of an IT department. Most company’s software, systems are all outsourced to external IT vendors. As much as this may seem like a more viable and cost-efficient method than hiring a whole team of IT personnel, many companies fail to see the potential problem in this method.

For example: When software is down, the company itself will not be able to deal with this immediately but instead, they would have to contact the outsourced IT company to fix it. If it’s a problem that can be fixed remotely, it could still be okay. But in a situation where it’s a virus or there is a malware malfunction the IT team might have to physically go down to solve it, appointments with them would have to be scheduled which would result in a waiting time for this matter to be solved.

This would greatly decrease the working efficiency of the entire company. In even smaller-scale companies when not much software exists in the systems there might likely not even be an outsourced IT company, but just depending on their current staff who is not IT trained to figure it out and in worse cases, only when it really would need a professional to come and fix it, only then will the company start looking for an outsourced IT company to deal with this matter.
