research paper, 5-7 pages (1250-1750 words) in length, about African artist Yinka Shonibare and three of his pieces: “Scramble for Africa (2003)”, “Moving Up (2021)” and “Nelson’s Ship in a Bottle (2010)”. You must address the three artworks in depth, and must have an overarching thesis about how the artist addresses the theme. Discuss the overarching themes connecting these works such as colonialism and intersectionality. A strong thesis and supporting analysis are essential. The paper should be double-spaced, written
in 12 pt. font, and have 1” margins, should have a cover page (which does not factor into your page count) that states, sources must be cited using the Chicago Manual of Style citation, the end of your paper you will need to have a Works Cited page which lists all of your sources. This does not count towards the page total. You need to include all of the images you discuss. Assign a number to each and label
them with the relevant “tombstone information.” No images should appear in the body of the paper. As you discuss each image, cite it in the paper with the number it is assigned. I have the three sources you may use (attached in the document below) any additional sources must be discussed with me first.
