Compose a report on your profession’s (or your target profession if you are changing roles) trends. Use the eight strategic radar screens—customer, competitor, economic, technological, political, legal, geophysical, and social—to guide your analysis of the trends you find. To gather information for your report, you should locate a recent (published within 6 months) source for each screen. Sources can include a combination of news articles, industry publications/reports, YouTube videos, podcasts, and/or journal articles. In your project, you should summarize each of your sources and what it means for your field. In your discussion, identify the top environmental screen that you think is most noteworthy.
Conducting an environmental analysis of your profession or field will help you understand current trends that may impact how you are able to develop and implement your strategic plans.
The purpose of this assignment is to showcase your ability to:
• Locate relevant information, such as industry reports and journals.
• Evaluate research to identify trends.
INSTRUCTIONS
To complete this work, execute the following steps:
1. Locate 8+ sources, at least one for each screen.
2. Summarize each source and how it relates to that screen.
3. Identify the top environmental screen and why you think it is noteworthy.
Submission details:
• 11 pages—include a cover page (name, date, and field/profession), table of contents, page for each screen, and a concluding page
o You don’t have to completely fill out each page, just separate them for quick reading
o Use headings and/or lists to help you organize your information
• Use Times New Roman 12-point font with 1” margins
