Content Creation (Practical Component)

  • Use an AI tool (e.g., Canva AI, Microsoft Copilot, or similar) to generate a single piece of
    still image content for a brand’s social media campaign.
  • The content should reflect the brand’s values, positioning, and target audience.
  • You may choose any brand, but your commentary must clearly justify your choice.
    Written Commentary (1,000 words)
  • Alongside the image, submit a written analysis that addresses the following:

Rationale: Justify your choice of brand and explain how the content reflects the brand’s identity, positioning, and campaign objectives.
Engagement: How will this content capture audience attention, encourage interaction, and contribute to consumer-brand relationships?
Impact: Identify the expected outcomes of the post in relation to the brand’s goals (e.g., increasing awareness, improving sentiment, generating engagement, driving purchase intent) and consider how these outcomes might be measured
(e.g., impressions, click-through rates, follower growth, engagement rate, conversions).
Theoretical Foundation: Apply and critically engage with relevant academic theories and models.

Submission Format

  • Submit one single file.
  • The file should begin with the AI-generated image, clearly labelled with the brand name.
  • The 1,000-word commentary should follow the image.
