Examine National Institute of Standards and Technologies (NIST) AI 100-1, Artificial Intelligence Risk Management Framework.

Review the following in the NIST AI 100-1 publication.

  • Part 1: “Framing Risk, Fig. 2” Lifecycle and Key Dimensions of an AI System.”
  • Part 1: Fig. 3. “AI actors across AI lifecycle stages.” AI Risks and Trustworthiness.
  • Part 2: Core and Profiles
  • Part 2: Fig. 5.

Create a Microsoft PowerPoint® narrated (voice) report of at least 10 slides based on your findings in NIST AI 100-1.

  1. Discuss the risks and benefits of AI technology.
  2. List the harm to people, an organization, and the ecosystem, and examine the risks to data, hardware, and software.
  3. Include the importance of the AI actors in relation to successful risk management.
  4.  Include the seven characteristics of trustworthy AI systems.
    1. Next, include a screenshot of Part 1: Fig. 2: (“Lifecycle and Key Dimensions of an AI System.” on a separate slide)
  5. List the four functions of the AI RMF Core and a summary of what the AI RMF Core functions entail.

Provide a title slide with your name, presenter notes on all slides, and a reference slide that provides APA Style references of any sources used in the PowerPoint presentation. The reference slide slide does not require narration. The minimum total should be 12 slides (10 content slides, a title slide, and a reference slide).

ORAL PARAMETERS/EXPECTATIONS:

  1. At least 10 content slides (not including the title slide and reference slide) should be included, with each slide having narration in Standard English explaining the key ideas in the slide.
  2. The oral presentation should have a highly developed and sustained viewpoint and purpose.
  3. The oral communication should be highly ordered, logical, and unified.
  4. The oral delivery technique, including word choice and oral expressiveness, should display exceptional content, organization, and style, while leading the audience to a dynamic and supported conclusion.
  5. Include presenter notes on each slide with the content used for the oral presentation.
  6. Free of grammatical errors.
  7. No evidence of plagiarism.
  8. Ensure that the narration provides clear enunciation, has a professional tone, and is free of background noise.
