Journal Guidelines

Weekly Population Health Journal:  Students are required to keep a weekly journal related to population health issues. Examples of relevant entries include current population or community health concerns, discussion of the Affordable Care Act and its impact on population health, global health implications relating to current infectious diseases, and current policy or legislation activities directly impacting population health.  The journal should include a copy of the article or clear reference to the item you are discussing (i.e. Podcast).  Each entry must demonstrate the student’s understanding of the population health implications involved. Generally, these are 1-2 pages in length (ideally 2 pages), double spaced (excluding cover page and reference page).  Adhere to APA guidelines and reference your work.   A minimum of 2 references are required (generally the article and your text). Please use the following guidelines in your paper.
